Images in Every Style – Part 1

One of the limitations I have found with generated AI art in Midjourney has been my own lack of knowledge when it comes to various art styles. I can’t create more interesting artwork because I don’t have a wide breadth of knowledge when it comes to art styles and genres.

Enter ChatGPT. I asked it to give me a bunch of different art styles and genres. I plugged those in, and here is what I got. The first batch here is more religiously themed. In my next post, I’ll put up more secular artwork in a bunch of other styles. Hope you get some inspiration for your own work.

Religious Art

Conversion of St. Paul – Glitch Art

Jesus Raises Lazarus from the Dead – Abstract Expressionism

Moses on Mt. Sinai – Cubist

Jesus Heals the Blind Man – De Stijl

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary – Rococo

Jesus Washes the Disciples’ Feet – Painting in Low-Poly

Paul Preaching the Gospel – Fauvism

Pentecost – Pop Art

Saints and Angels – Surrealist

Jesus and His Disciples – Impressionist

Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem – Motion Graphic

The Apostle John’s Vision of Heaven – Futurism

Virgin Mary with Christ Child – Baroque

Jesus at the Wedding of Cana – ASCII

Saints in Heaven – Vector

  1. Very interesting! Thank you for sharing about the different art styles.
Everytime I try to generate an AI image of Jesus it looks awful. Do you have any suggestions for prompts that make Jesus look better?

    1. Hi Telma, I guess that depends on what you are looking for. Why do you feel what you’ve generated looks awful? Is there something you are looking for specifically?

      1. Multiple issues…. sometimes Jesus looks mentally ill… Sometimes He has 2 mouths or 3 hands… sometimes the image is just plain ugly

      2. Do you use Midjourney or a different platform? I’ve found that the more specific I am about what I want, the better it is. Midjourney keeps updating as well, so hopefully your efforts improve. I’m sorry it took me so long to respond!
